I always knew I wanted to be a police officer, and I’m having a good time here. I enjoy helping people and protecting those who can’t protect themselves.

My fellow officers and I have a good working relationship. I've also developed a lot of personal friendships over the years.

Working at the airport is a unique experience because so many people are coming into and leaving LAX each day. One of the interesting things about this job is that it's constantly changing. No two calls are exactly the same.

This job can be challenging at times because LAX is the number one terrorist target on the west coast. We have to train to be prepared for an attack and be in the mindset that we have to be ready to respond.
