I have a lot of family in the field of law enforcement, so I always knew I wanted to be a police officer. I worked for another city in park enforcement, then when I heard about the opportunity at the LAXPD, I applied for a job here.

I've been a police officer with the LAXPD for two and a half years now. My duties include responding to calls in the terminal and helping travelers find their way. The great thing about this job is that there's always something different, something exciting.

My co-workers and I have a great relationship. We get along very well. It's important to have that relationship because we all have to work together in an emergency situation.

One of the good things about the LAXPD is the potential for advancement it offers. There are many different assignments you can work and lots of promotions you can get.
